Yeah, I agree.. I like the pictures with people the most because they evoke emotion. The flowers never really gave me that. I'm eager to see the layout you choose.
This recent photo looks really nice. Have you thought of how you are going to do the layout for your book yet? My favorite photos are the ones that are all in sepia so far.
i still would like to see some photos where there is more to blur out so you can definitely see the focus on the subject. what are the dimensions and layout for your book.
This recent photo is great, but, BUT we are missing the assignment. I want the layout, cover and all that jazz. I feel tht you have a great deal to catch up on and I know life gets in the way of these things but HUNKER DOWN.
If you are not invested in the concept you currently have, it is not too late to change. I encourage you to pick something that you love so that you will do it all of the time.
You are a lovely photographer so don't waste your time. I will work with you to get on track. I know you l know you have had some life stuff so i will be flexible. :-) You can call at 530-530-5110.
The sepia colored photos are my favorite. The lack of color makes way for a subdued mood. The book would be more fascinating without the flowers and other people. Focusing on you and what you might be doing at the moment is very intriguing.
For the front cover I would make it similar to the photos that you are going to put into the book. I would also make the cover using the Sepia color filter as well.
In my mind I sometimes feel like I am the only one that exist in the world and everyone else is a blur. Other times I feel that I am the blur and another object is standing out and is noticed among everything else. I will be photographed in public or alone and and appear as if I am the only person in that surrounding. I will also be taking photographs of other subjects that captivates me and focus only on it with everything else a blur.
I really like the photos where there is a person to identify with. :) Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI kind of wish they were all in the sepia color. It adds a sensitive feeling to the photos. Can't wait to see the layout!

ReplyDeleteI agree with the person thing. Unless you find an obvious way to connect them.
ReplyDeleteAre they going to be full bleed or have maybe a black background 1/2"?
i like this picture. How to get focus just into face. The focusing of this photo really was in the center. i like your skill.
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo!! I can't wait to see your layout & everything! Keep up the great work! :D

ReplyDeleteYour photos are looking good; do you have any possible front covers for your artist book?
